Next weekend, we’ll be playing our first couple of shows in Spain since our tour there back in 2013. Barcelona on April 29, and Madrid on April 30. Right about that time, it is planned for our new keyboard player Thomas Pettersson to become a father. So, therefore he can’t be with us for these two shows.
But as a stand-in, we will have our first keyboard player Mathias Stenson!
He was in the band from the start, between 2006 and 2011, and did his last show with us in Bonn in Germany, as we recorded the TV show for Rockpalast. He played on both our debut album and Madness & Grace, plus did a whole lot of touring with us. And we have remained friends ever since.
So these two shows will be a very special, perhaps once in a lifetime, reunion.
Welcome back Mathias! And good luck to Thomas and Andrea with the birth of your child!
